In the heart of Englands Potteries the town of Hanley, (main town of the city of Stoke on Trent), is a town with plenty of history relating to the world famous pottery industry. We're looking to make this event the biggest and best so far this year, (and last year too probably), so we've come up with a few extras that we think will give you plenty of reasons to turn up and play. Firstly the event is maxing out on the locations and family friendly nature to allow maximum entertainment for all ages and interests. The meeting point for the event will be in the cafe of the Potteries Museum (https://www.stokemuseums.org.uk/pmag/) where we have a dedicated space alongside the cafe to meet up, register, plan, scheme, and get ready for the play with plenty of hot and cold food and drinks available. Next to the cafe is the spitfire exhibition which is a must see to get up and close with an actual spitfire. During the event we're bringing all the excitement as we're running the first NW IFS battle beacon challenge where you can compete to win it for your faction. This will be held on location during the IFS play window and further details will follow! Please pack your inventory accordingly! *** Please check your timezones as our clocks will have just changed! ***Zoom and passcode solving etc will start at 12:00 [BRITISH SUMMER TIME - BST - UTC+1] Game play time will be 13:00 - 15:00 [BRITISH SUMMER TIME - BST - UTC+1] We've had enough timezone screw ups already this year ;) Following the event we're meeting back at the Longrest - Boardgame Bar and Cafe Stoke on Trent. 15:00 - 17:00 [BRITISH SUMMER TIME - BST - UTC+1] If you're just staying to socialise, chat, relax and enjoy another great selection of food and drinks while waiting for the prizes that's fine. If however you want to play some of the 280+ board games available at the cafe there will be a £2.50 / head cover charge but you're more than welcome to get stuck in. We do need an idea of numbers for the in person event so if you sign up, please make sure you dive into the TG chat and let us know you'll be joining us in person for what promises to be a great day out for all the family, (or just yourself, or any other combination of people you can persuade to turn up).
