For this months portal hunt, we are searching around the inner southern suburb of Goodwood. Located in the council of Unley and near the south western corner of Adelaide CBD, it is a point where the southern train lines and Glenelg train meet. The Adelaide Showgrounds, home of the annual Adelaide Royal Show, are in the vicinity at nearby Wayville.Our portal hunt centres around the historic Capri Theatre, Built in 1941 and still an active cinema, it is the home of the Southern Hemisphere's second largest Wurlitzer theatre organ, used to accmpany silent movies in the 1920s and added to the Capri in the 1980s and has been restored.
