Come and join us for Ingress Townsville's June event! This is a FREE event and is open to everyone. If you haven't played Ingress before, come on down and check it out. All you need is your mobile phone.#IngressFS: Ingress: First Saturdays are part social, part competitive. Once a month, First Saturdays are a get together of the local Ingress family, new and old, to level up new recruits, make new friends, and strengthen Cross-Faction relations.#IngressTownsville runs this event on the first Saturday of every month as a friendly way to get people outside, exploring their city whilst making new friends!Ingress is an augmented reality mobile game developed and published by Niantic for Android and iOS devices. Players compete with each other to capture different points within a region, like a capture the flag type game, except it is played across the entire globe. Most of the capture points or "portals" were used to feed the gym and Pokestops that are featured in Pokemon Go.
