During the event, there will be “unique and powerful” Raid bosses that appear at these events. Niantic also teased region exclusives outside Europe spawning at this event, specially Kangaskhan (which is usually only found in Australia and New Zealand).
Time will tell if we’ll see other region exclusives outside Kangaskhan at these events. This is a very cleaver marketing use of region exclusive Pokémon as it’ll be a guaranteed attendance draw for eager Trainers looking to complete their Pokédex.
